Excitement about Schweinsteiger’s hospital visit

A hospital visit, just before the World Cup opening match of the German national team at the World Cup against Portugal, by vice-captain Bastian Schweinsteiger has caused lot of excitement among fans and others. The 29-year-old midfielder had to undergo a health examination in Eunopolis on Saturday.
This was confirmed by the German Football Association on Sunday and assured that Schweinsteiger has no new injury which endangers his place in the match on Monday.
The investigation was ordered in the context of a FIFA protection program and had a technical background. The World Association must pay compensation to the clubs at sustained injuries during the tournament.
Captain Philipp Lahm and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who were also injured in the World Cup preparations had completed the studies in Munich before leaving for Brazil. Schweinsteiger had complained about some problems in his knee during the World Cup preparations.
About Schweinsteiger’s conditions, coach Joachim Löw said, “The first date for this study was supposed to take place after our training camp in South Tyrol. But Bastian Schweinsteiger had to travel for the game. But the FIFA wanted him to complete a survey for insurance reasons. Therefore, this has now taken place. His problems with his knee are completely endured. But because of the request from FIFA this investigation had to happen for his insurance.”
