This is something I really want to do & a place where I really want to spend a whole day; being with my friends, out in the jungle, perched on high rocks and diving into a running stream of water. I always wanted to go to such a place and enjoy in the lap of mother nature.

When I saw these kids living my dream, I realized that maybe I am too old to do all this stuff now, or am I ?

I met Pedro at a small restaurant in Cuetzalan, Mexico. It was morning and we got into this small restaurant to have breakfast. We were having a look at the menu when he came to our table and asked us if we are interested in visiting his town which is near to Cuetzalan and is a nice place to see. That way he would earn some money too. Since we had only a couple of hours to be at the place, we told him its not possible for us to go. Then he asked us if we can give him some money for breakfast. Instead of giving money, we invited him to have breakfast with us, for which he agreed with a sparkling smile on his face.

We sat with him for almost an hour, engaging ouraelves deep into some sweet child-talk. He asked a lot of qustions to me; about myself, about India, about my family and many other things. He was not at all uncomfortable in talking to us & had a sweet smile on his face all the time.

That was really a memorable breakfast with a sweet little soul.

I was sitting and observing this group of children for a long time. The sheer happiness & the vivid expressions on their face made me forget everything and just stare at them. They took me into a third world, free of all worries and sadness, where I too was a kid, void of all earthly attachments.

When I clicked the photo, it was as if my thoughts had just descended into the camera.

I was having a casual evening walk when I saw this cute little girl running here and there around the side-walk. She was actually running to & fro between her parents, waving her hands in the air & shrieking every now and then. I silently took the nod of her mother to capture her into my camera and then took a couple of shots. But just as I took the second one, she noticed me and became conscious.

Kids do really take my heart away.

I went back to my school days on seeing these young painters, when I used to be so excited about the yearly drawing & sketching competitions. I used to think about the topic a week in advance and used to make sure that I have the correct set of colors and drawing material before I leave from my home.

I saw these kids, at a local mall, painting on their cute little canvasses with utmost sincerity. There was such an evident innocence and purity on their faces which just made me stand there and admire them.

Running along with the fast pace of life, I left somewhere far behind, this passion of mine. These kids reminded me of something I need to get back to.
