Its a nice sight to see so many different colored flags in one glance. They give you a feeling of unity in diversity. Also, how many times do we stop and observe the flags of different countries? I actually dont even remember when I carefully saw the flag of my own country.

So this time when I came across this guy who was selling these numerous little flags, I stopped at the place and observed them closely. Unfortunately, the flag of my own country was not there on the part of the board which I decided to shoot :)

You wont believe this – I clicked this photo of an empty street late midnight at 1 AM. I came back home to see how the pictures have come & when I started checking the pictures, to my horror I could see so many ghostly figures roaming around on the supposedly empty place. Just enlarge the photo by clicking on it & you would be able to see hundreds of blurry people moving around against otherwise clear and sharp background.

To be serious, I was just testing the high aperture settings of my camera. Higher the aperture more is the exposure of the scene on the camera sensor; and hence the moving objects come blurred :) Didnt expect such an effect when I clicked it. But it certainly came out to be a different type of picture altogether.

It was just by chance that I had a glance on this side-street while walking through the market. I saw it and the photo was already clicked inside my mind. All I had to do was take out the camera and put it in the digital memory.

What I really liked about this photo was the way it guides your eyes up the staircase. You start looking at it and automatically your eyes follow the staircase and reach the top of the photograph. Also, I loved the way different colors have given their collective effect on the texture of the picture. This one is certainly of the type I love to click.

These 3 nails stuck into the wall just in front of my front door have been in my attention for a long time now. Today I decided to get something out of them. I was trying to get the focus on the head butts, but that was making the background to come in focus too. Its high time a buy a nice macro lens :)

While I was busy getting the right angle with my half my body kneeling against the wall my neighbors must be thinking – What the heck is this guy up to ?? !! But who cares as long as I am getting nice pictures :)

I believe that each one of us has a flame inside us; the flame which drives us to do something special in life. The difference between those who are able to do that and those who can’t is how long we can keep that flame burning inside. Because to keep burning it will require a constant source of fuel, which will be our efforts and hard work. Most of us kneel down in front of life’s difficulties and extinguish the flame inside – only to realize later that we have actually lost the zest to accomplish something BIG.

As for the image, it is a result of an effort to kill the boredom which arises during the frequent power cuts in Chennai :)

Many times we are faced with unknown possibilities. Where we don’t have a choice but to open the door standing in front of you and walk through the uncertainty, hoping for the best to happen.

These “doors to nowhere” are actually the real excitement of life. When you have to walk the unknown path, only to discover later that how perfect a choice it was.

As for the image, it comes again from the Lal Quila, Delhi.

Though sitting besides the wings on a window seat in an airplane can be a show-spoiler for some, I really like it due to a couple of reasons. First, it makes me realize the magnanimity of the thing and really inspires me to stretch my own wings and soar high up in the sky. Secondly, being less philosophical and more childish, I really enjoy seeing the wings tilt left and right when the aircraft changes directions. You can actually see the wings changing inclinations and feel the tilt. Sometimes it is enjoyable and sometimes scary. But I really like it.

This is a lamp hung on the inner wall of our apartment. The place is blocked with a iron mesh and the view is not clear from outside. I was thinking of taking this picture for a long time but never found that gate open. Today morning I got the chance & hence got this considerable decent shot from my mobile.

This picture looks very ordinary and simple. The sheer simplicity in color and appearance somehow makes this picture very attractive for me. I like the texture and the overall completeness of the image.
