If you think about art forms on road sides and road intersections, you think of France, Italy and Holland. I haven’t seen other parts of Mexico, but being quite familiar with Mexico City, I can very well list it along with the European elites. You can find diverse expressions of art in every nook and corner of the city. The art forms vary from medieval impressions to some very versatile expressions of modern art. A lot of thought has been put even while designing the benches and seats on the side-walks.
If you go the old city, you will feel as if you are on a trip to the colonial past. The buildings, the architectural designs, subways, even the lamp posts have a typical Spanish art print on them.
Impressive!!! Mexico seems to be a really exotic place.

Try for images more than 1 MB size and at least 300dpi, which gives you better resolution while printing.
Most of my images are 2MB+ in size with a resolution greater than 5MP … dpi setting I have to check in my camera …

When you are uploading the photo in your blog, is it having the same size? Your comment in the blog says that you are chopping the picture before you post here.
Also check the dpi setting in your camera.

The most important things in photography are light and angle.
No matter which camera you use. Great pictures are born when you can use them to perfection.
I have been keeping track of this blog for about a month now. It is entertaining in its own way, with its different approach and the glimpses it gives into the author’s daily life. Lately, I have found discussions on various aspects of photography in the commentspace and I have been trying to make them useful for myself too. I request people with knowledge on these things to elaborate on the required improvements so that it becomes constructive criticism instead of plain taunting, and also helps the many people who read it. Thanks.
I couldn’t see anybody who was seriously interested in photography. All or most of the “commentators” were biased and were spoiling this chap by applauding whatever he uploads.
And u r guardian angel, balancing this ‘bias’ by giving only bad comments?
@fonceur: Thanks for your reply. I agree, not many people were coming forward with suggestions for improvement. That might be because most of us are casual visitors who just like to look at pictures. Still, when a person has knowledge on the subject, it would be useful if you put it clearly, thus we laymen will get some understanding, and maybe that will give us a benchmark to judge future pictues. For example, you have said that light and angle are the most important things in photography. I didnt see anything wrong in this pic due to my lack of knowledge…if you could elaborate on how it could be improved, how to make it a better picture, I would learn from it and learn to recognize these things. That is why I requested for more specific comments.

He never insisted that the images are showing his excellent photography skill, also this is not a mere photography blog; it tells about his views about the images when he clicks, which our author says it is his mind.
People are not simply applauding him for posting whatever he uploads. Rather they read his eye and mind penned here and then give what they feel about the image, no matter what crosses their mind – appreciation, critique, advices, ideas etc. To improve his skill, we need all these types of comments, critique includes!
Author is taking everything in a right way and acting to it keeping in mind all the pros and cons about his skill pointed by us. I am seeing this in these 3.5 months since he started this blog.
