Based on Mesut Ozil’s excellent current form, one can argue about his status as a world star. However, number speaks for themselves. On Facebook, Mesut Ozil has now 20 million global fans, which is the highest for any German Athlete in the DFB national team. On Twitter, the 25-year-old now has over six million “followers”.
